Zenith El Primero chronograph Chronometre18K rose gold chronograph with caliber 410 – Full Set
Beautiful round guilloche creamy dial Zenith chronograph in 18K rose gold. Each hour is marked with Roman numerals or gold batons. Three sub dials for minutes at 3 o’clock, seconds at 9 o’clock and hours with moon phase at 6 o’clock. The window for the day is at 10 o’clock, month, 2 o’clock and date at 5 o’clock. The hands are in gold with Dauphine style. The outer ring for the tachymeter is graduated up to 400. It is a “Swiss Made” model. The case is in rose gold with exhibition sapphire caseback. Around the case you have engraved Manufacture Zenith – 750 – Swiss Made – 17 0240 410 – Chronomaster. The watch has an automatic movement with caliber Z410 and 31 jewels. The watch comes with a green leather Camille Fournet Strap and original brown Zenith strap. The Zenith buckle is original in rose gold. Full set with certificates, box, tag, etc.
History
A man called Georges Favre Jacot set-up a company in 1865. He experienced a large successful offering pocket watches as accuracy as possible. In 1896, it won a gold medal at the Swiss National Exhibition. In 1960, Zenith takes over Martel Watch Co., which developed the calibers 285 and 749 for Universal. They became the 246 Zenith family. In 1969, Zenith introduces the first ever-automatic chronograph with central winding rotor, the mythical “El Primero”. Since 1999, the company is owned by LVMH. Their current leading products are “Chronomaster XXT”, the tourbillon chronograph, the “Traveler” and “Defy Xtreme”.
