Pulsar Tiffany & Co – Quartz - Serviced
Vintage Pulsar Tiffany with a rectangular LED red screen. It was made for Tiffany & Co. Pressing the button, it offers time (hour and minute). The case is in stainless steel engraved in the front “Pulsar” and in the back “Stainless steel – Min – Hr. – 30904”. The watch comes with a stainless-steel bracelet and double clasp Pulsar. This is highly collectible as you own a part of the American watch industry and the digital revolution. Serviced.
History
In 1970, Pulsar, a brand of the American Hamilton Watch Company was the first company to make an LED watch. It was a revolution in the new world of electronic digital watch. The watch was developed jointly with Hamilton and Electro/Data Inc. It was a simple watch, a button to highlight the screen and offer the functions of time. The first Pulsar sold for $2100 over $15,000 of today’s value. In 1978, Seiko corporation acquired the brand.
