Lecoultre Memovox Polaris – Ref E859 – 05/1968
This watch features its original LeCoultre dial, hands, and bezel from 1968. During a service performed in January 2000 by Swiss Watch Service Centre Pty Ltd., an authorized service center in Australia, several components were replaced with factory-original New Old Stock (NOS) parts, including the dial, chapter ring, alarm-setting components, hands, bracelet, and balance and hammer springs. To preserve the watch’s authenticity and original vintage character, I subsequently had my watchmaker reinstall the original 1968 components, returning the timepiece to its configuration as it was when first sold. All factory-original NOS replacement parts are included with the watch. (See photos). 1714 watches have been made from 1965 to 1970. Beautiful original and collectible vintage timepiece.
Mint Jaeger Lecoultre Memovox Polaris with reference E859 with black round dial and Arabic numerals for 6, 9 and 12 and large batons for other hours. The hands are in stainless steel with baton style. Pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. It is a stainless-steel screwed back case that requires a special tool to open it.
