Beautiful and highly collectible Chanel Premiere Gourmette watch with rectangular black dial with steel baton hands. It is a Swiss model. The watch comes with a black cabochon crown. It is a stainless-steel screwed back case with engraved “Chanel – Paris- Acier – Etanche – 30m – Quartz – Swiss Made – Q.K.48566 - Chanel – 1987”. The watch has a quartz movement. It is a stainless-steel bracelet with Gourmette style and a double clasp Chanel buckle. The watch comes with a Chanel velvet box.

History

The first Chanel watch collection premiere came in 1987 with the name “Premiere”. Chanel is of course famous for its clothing lines but also became for its watches with unconventional design inspired by the “Place Vendome” and its clipped corners that give the square its unique octagonal shape. Some of Chanel watches are iconic like the J12 collection released in 2000 or Mademoiselle. In the 1990’s, Chanel acquired the Manufacture C&F Chatelain in Switzerland. Chanel introduced new concept as ceramic as core material. The J12 in white came in 2003 and it is still a huge success. In 2005, Chanel introduced its first Grande Complication watch with the J12 Tourbillon. In 2012, it obtained the Best Lady Watch Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve for its Premiere Flying Tourbillon and in 2013 the Artistic prize for the Mademoiselle Prive Camelia Brode. It is the watch of the stars with actress Blake Lively, top model Alessandra D’Ambrasio or tennis champion Anna Kournikova.
