Bulova N4 jump hour with window and 3 black disks and white Arabic numerals for hours, minutes and seconds. The window for the date is at 3 o’clock. It is engraved Bulova Automatic. It is a “Germany” model. The crown comes with Bulova engraved. It is a stainless-steel back case with engraved inside “W Germany – P400” and outside “Bulova N4 – Water Resistant – Stainless Steel – 301451. The watch has an automatic movement with caliber 11 COAUD with 17 jewels. The watch comes with a “Duchess USA” stainless steel bracelet and double clasp. The length of the bracelet is 7.5 inches. The watch is serviced.
History
The story of Joseph Bulova started in 1875 in the New York area in opening a small jewelry store in the Maiden Lane. Years after years, Bulova offers a full line of watches. In 1926, Bulova introduce a world premier “a practical clock radio”. 1930-1940 is a period of tremendous success for the brand with its rectangular gold-filled wristwatches with highly cambered cases. In the 1950’s, Bulova is the first with electronic watches, the “Accutron”. In 1967, Bulova bought Universal then in 1979 is acquired by Loews Corp. and in 2001bought Wittnauer.
