The window for the date is at 3 o’clock. The engraved Accutron crown is a 4 o’clock. It is a 14K gold case with beautiful case. It is engraved “Bulova patented 14 KT Gold case – Waterproof – M7 - D37171”. The watch comes with the mythic electronic movement 218 D. The watch comes a brown alligator strap with 18mm width between lugs.
History
The story of Joseph Bulova started in 1875 in the New York area in opening a small jewelry store in the Maiden Lane. Years after years, Bulova offers a full line of watches. In 1926, Bulova introduce a world premier “a practical clock radio”. 1930-1940 is a period of tremendous success for the brand with its rectangular gold-filled wristwatches with highly cambered cases. In the 1950’s, Bulova is the first with electronic watches, the “Accutron”. In 1967, Bulova bought Universal then in 1979 is acquired by Loews Corp. and in 2001bought Wittnauer.
