Breitling Superocean II BTQ Zermatt Chronometer Automatic with Reference A17321D in stainless steel with white Arabic numerals marking hours. The hands are white with “Baton” style. The second hand comes with a red arrow. All the luminous are excellent. The date window comes at 3 o’clock. On the outer of the dial comes a white ring for second. At 6 o’clock, you have engraved “Superocean Chorometer Automatic 200m /660FT”. The watch has a white unidirectional rotative bezel. The watch has a screwed crown with Breitling logo. It is a screw back case with engraved “Breitling Chronometre Manufacture en Suisse – Etanche 200m – A17312 – 6188837”. The watch is waterproof 200 M. The watch has a Breitling automatic movement with caliber 17 and 25 jewels. It is a stainless steel bracelet with Breitling double clasp. It comes with an extra white Breitling rubber strap with a Breitling buckle and 3 links. The watch comes with the box, international warranty card, instruction and certificate of chronometry. It is a full set.
History
Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
