Breitling Superocean Heritage II 42 “Chronometre Officiellement Certifie” with Reference AB 2010 in stainless steel with green dial and steel batons marking each hour. The hands are white with “Sword” style. All the luminous are excellent. The date window comes at 6 o’clock. On the outer of the dial comes a white ring for second. At 6 o’clock, you have engraved “Superocean Automatic 200m /660FT”. The watch has a unidirectional black ceramic rotative bezel. The watch has a screwed crown with Breitling logo. It is a screw back case with engraved “Breitling Chronometre Superocean Edition Speciale Etanche 200M - AB 2010”. The watch is waterproof 200 M. The watch has a Breitling automatic movement with caliber B20 and 28 jewels. It is a Breitling black rubber strap with a Breitling clasp. It fits a 6.5 inches wrist. The watch comes with the box, and international warranty. The watch is warrantied until 06/02/2029.
History
Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
