Breitling Superocean Heritage 44 “Chronometer” with Reference AB0162 in stainless steel with gray dial and steel batons marking each hour. 3 sub dials with minutes at 3 o’clock, hours at 6 o’clock and seconds at 9 o’clock. The hands are white with “Sword” style. All the luminous are excellent. The date window comes at 4 o’clock. On the outer of the dial comes a black ring for second. The watch has a unidirectional black ceramic bezel. The watch has a screwed crown with Breitling logo. It is a screwed exhibition sapphire case back with engraved around “Chronograh Certifie Chronometre – Edition Speciale - Etanche 200M – AB0162 - 3394375”. The watch is waterproof 200 M. The watch has a Breitling automatic movement with caliber B01 and 47 jewels. It is a Breitling mash stainless steel bracelet with a Breitling clasp.  It fits an 8 inches wrist with the extra links. The watch comes with the box, international warranty (QR Code) and box.  The watch is warrantied until 07/03/2030.

History

Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
