Breitling Navitimer Aerospace – Ref F56059 – Titanium and Gold -Quartz
Breitling Aerospace with reference F56059 in titanium and gold with round gray dial with two digitals windows at 6 and 10 o’clock for other functions. At 6 o’clock is engraved “Breitling Navitimer”. Hours are marked with big white Arabic numerals 3, 6, 9, 12 and batons for other hours. The hands have Baton style. The watch offers a large variety of functions. There is a unidirectional outside bezel with gold marks for 15, 30, 45 and 60. The watch comes with a Breitling crown. The back case is in titanium with engraved outside “Breitling Navitimer - Quartz - 18514 - Water Resistant – Swiss Made – 80360 – Titanium Case – F56059”. It is a quartz movement with caliber 79. The watch has a titanium and gold bracelet and Breitling clasp. The bracelet fits a 7.5 inches wrist.
History
manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
