Good condition Rolex President 1803 with light grey Pie Pan round dial with gold batons for each hour. The window for the date is at 3 o’clock and the day at 12 o’clock. It is a “Swiss” model. At 6 o’clock is engraved “Superlative chronometer officially certified”. The hands are in gold with “Leaf” style. All the luminous are excellent. The watch has a fluted bezel. It is a screwed crown with the Rolex logo. The serial number of the watch is 1.437 million and date the watch to 1966. The watch has an automatic movement with caliber 1556 and 26 jewels. The watch comes with a 18K yellow gold jubilee bracelet and double rolex clasp. The watch fits a 7.5 inches wrist.

History

In 1926, he patented a watchcase with a screw down crown. In 1927 the “Oyster” was born when Mercedes Gleitze crossed the Channel in 15 hours and 15 minutes. In 1931, came the “Perpetual”, then the “Datejust” in 1945. Since 2000, Rolex makes its own movements and produce over 700,000 watches a year many being iconic like the Daytona, Submariner or the Prince to name a few.
