Vintage Zenith Heritage A277 with movement HP146 diving watch in stainless steel
Vintage collectible Zenith Heritage A277 in stainless steel with round black dial. It has three creamy color sub dials, minutes at 3 o’clock, hours at 6 o’clock and seconds at 9 o’clock. It has batons for every five minutes as well as Arabic numerals. The watch has the Zenith star logo and is signed “Swiss Made T”. The watch has Dauphine hands and stick hands in the sub dials. All the luminous are good on the watch. The watch has a black rotating diving bezel. The watch has a screw back case with inside engraved “Zenith –Swiss Made – Acier Inoxydable” and on the outside case the big Zenith logo. The watch has a Zenith HP146 movement. The watch has sign of wear, however, it is all original and never polished. The watch comes with a black leather strap.
History
A man called Georges Favre Jacot set-up a company in 1865. He experienced a large successful offering pocket watches as accuracy as possible. In 1896, it won a gold medal at the Swiss National Exhibition. In 1960, Zenith takes over Martel Watch Co., which developed the calibers 285 and 749 for Universal. They became the 246 Zenith family. In 1969, Zenith introduces the first ever-automatic chronograph with central winding rotor, the mythical “El Primero”. Since 1999, the company is owned by LVMH. Their current leading products are “Chronomaster XXT”, the tourbillon chronograph, the “Traveler” and “Defy Xtreme”.
