Tudor Prince Oysterdate – Ref 74300 in stainless steel
Very nice Tudor Prince Oysterdate with round silver dial. Each hour is marked with a black/silver baton and small dot. The window for the date is at 3 o’clock. At 12 o’clock, it is engraved “Tudor Prince Oysterdate” and at 6 o’clock “Rotor Self Winding”. It is a “Swiss” model. The hands have a baton shape and the luminous are both very good on the hands and dots. It is a screwed crown with the Rolex logo. It is a stainless-steel screwed back case with engraved outside “Original Oyster Case by Rolex Geneva”. It is a self-winding movement with caliber ETA 2824 2. The watch comes with a stainless-steel bracelet with ref 7835 with Rolex double clasp. The watch fits a 7.5 inches wrist.
History
The Tudor name was registered in 1906 by a Swiss watchmaker named Isaac Blumenthal in memory of the famous Royal English family who reign from 1495 to 1603. In 1940, Mr. Wilsdorf founder and owner of Rolex trade the name “The Tudor”. Since, the Rolex of the street guy developed beautiful watches such as the “Hydronaut” or la “Princess Date Chronograph” with the particularity to have ETA movement, one of the ever made.
