Tag Heuer Professional with Ref WH1151.K1 Serie 6000 – SS/Gold – Quartz movement

Good condition, Tag Heuer Professional with reference WH1151.K1 with round white dial and gold batons and arrows to mark the hours. The watch has a black outer ring for the seconds with Arabic numerals. At 6 o’clock comes “Professional – 200 meters”. It is a “T Swiss Made T”. The window for the date is at 3 o’clock. The watch has gold hands for “Mercedes” style. The watch comes with a rotative bezel. It is a screwed gold crown with the Tag logo. The watch has a steel screwed back case with engraved outside “Tag Heuer WH1151.K1 – CO2598 – Stainless Steel and 18K gold”. The watch has a quartz movement. The watch comes with a stainless-steel and gold Tag Heuer bracelet with double clasp buckle with reference BD 0678 – J1A. The watch comes with an extra used brown Tag strap and buckle. Width between lugs is 19mm and length of the bracelet is 7.5 inches. The watch comes with an original box.

History

The company was founded by Edouard Heuer in 1860 in opening a watch comptoir (dealership) in Saint Imier. In 1864, he moves to Bienne with a signed “E Heuer & Compagnie”. 1869, he applied for a patent for an “Independent crown-winding system”. In 1880, he is the first watch producer to start on the series production of chronographs. In 1910 Heuer creates the “doctor’s chronograph with pulsometer. In 1916 Heuer register a patent for the “Microsplit”. 1930, Heuer patented the design of waterproof case. 1949 comes the “Solunar” and the magic “Carrera” in 1963. 1964, Heuer merged with Leonidas S.A. Since 1999, the company is owned by the LVMH Group. In 2006, the “Carrera 360” took up the mantle of the “Microsplit”, a stopwatch accurate to 1/100th of a second.
