The company was founded in 1869. It started to produce highly precise measuring instruments and then speedometers and rev counters. The fourth generation took the helm around the 1970’s and it focused on high-end wristwatches, marine time systems and other nautical instruments. In 2003, the company patented the woodpecker neck regulation. In 2011 came the first-hand wound movement designed completely in-house. Today the company is celebrating over 150 years of existence.
