Magnificent one owner square LeCoultre in 14K solid yellow gold with movement 9 RO (Vacheron Constantin)
Beautiful one owner square 23mm Jaeger LeCoultre in14K solid yellow gold. The watch has a square dial with silver color, gold batons for hours and black roman numerals for 3, 9 and 12 o’clock. There is a second sub dial at 6 o’clock. The watch has an inner black square and an outside square for each minute. The back case is in 14K solid yellow gold with engraved inside “Cased and time in the USA by LeCoultre 14K gold and the number 928211”. The watch has a manual wind movement with engraved on “LeCoultre Co. – 17 jewels – 9RO and the number 371874. The watch comes with a black lizard band. All on this watch is original as it is an one owner watch.
History
The story of LeCoultre started in 1833 with Charles Antoine LeCoultre. In 1844 he invented the “millionometre” and then in 1851, he obtained a gold medal for his work and products at the universal exhibition. In 1877, LeCoultre built movement and between 1860 and 1925, it made 60,000 with various level of complication. 1925 is the merger with Edmond Jaeger. After this time came amazing pieces like the duoplan and the smallest caliber 101. Then came the Reverso in 1931, the Memovox in 1951, the Futurematic in 1953. In july 2000, the company became part of the Richemont group.

Manual wind movement with caliber 9 RO, 17 jewels, 18,000 bph. It is numbered 371874. It looks very similar to the Jaeger LeCoultre movement with caliber 428/2W.
