Beautiful 35mm Lecoultre chronograph with caliber 839H (Very rare). The watch has a light grey round dial with silver Arabic numerals for hours and minutes. The dial comes with 3 sub dials, minutes at 3 o’clock, hours at 6 o’clock and seconds at 9 o’clock (See photos for more detail of the dial condition). On the edge of the dial, there is a blue tachymeter graduated up to 1000. The hands are in stainless steel with “Baton” style. The watch has a stainless-steel screw back case with engraved inside “Le Coultre Swiss - Acier Inoxydable” and outside the number “142652”. The watch has a manual winding movement with caliber 839 and 17 jewels. The watch comes with a brand-new blue lizard strap. Serviced.
History
The story of Lecoultre started in 1833 with Charles Antoine LeCoultre. In 1844 he invented the “millionometre” and then in 1851, he obtained a gold medal for his work and products at the universal exhibition. In 1877, LeCoultre built movement and between 1860 and 1925, it made 60,000 with various level of complication. 1925 is the merger with Edmond Jaeger. After this time came amazing pieces like the duoplan and the smallest caliber 101. Then came the Reverso in 1931, the Memovox in 1951, the Futurematic in 1953. In july 2000, the company became part of the Richemont group.
