Breitling Chrono Cockpit Automatic in stainless steel and gold with gold round dial and gold batons for each hour. The watch has three blue sub dials, seconds at 3 o’clock, hours at 6 o’clock and minutes at 9 o’clock. The date window comes between 4 and 5 o’clock. On the outer of the dial comes a tachymeter graduated up to 500. The watch has a stainless steel and gold unidirectional bezel with marks for 15, 30 and 45. The watch has a screwed crown. It is a screwed back case with engraved outside “Breitling 1884 – Manufacture en Suisse – 100m – Automatic – B30012 - 6190”. The watch has an automatic movement. History

Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
