Dugena chronograph NOS with caliber Valjoux 7733 in SS
NOS Stainless steel Dugena chronograph watch with blue round dial, baton marking each hour and outer ring tachymeter graduated up to 1000. Two white sub dials for minutes at 3 o’clock and seconds at 9 o’clock. At 6 o’clock comes the window for the date. It is a “T Swiss Made T” model. The hands are yellow, black and white. It is a stainless steel back case with engraved around, “Stainless Steel – Water Resistant – Swiss Made – 157 – Shock Resistant”. The watch has a manual winding movement with caliber Valjoux 7733 and 17 jewels. The watch has a black Leather strap and a stainless-steel buckle. Original price tag is on the strap and the watch comes with the original box.
History
Dugena was a combined effort of multiple small manufacturers joining together in 1917. They supplied watches by the name alpina to Germany in WWII, they produced high quality quartz movement watches during the 1970s which made them one of the premium brands in Germany. They were known for their sporty racing looks with bright colors and a more casual band and style.
