Christian Dior Collection by Bulova with oval gray dial and gold/black sticks for the hours. The color of the dial is beautiful. It is a “Swiss Model”. The hands are in gold with “Sword style”. The crown comes with the Bulova logo. It is a 14K yellow gold case with engraved inside “Bulova New York – Ref L-128”. It is a Bulova manual winding movement with caliber 8EA and 17 jewels. The watch comes with a 14K gold and buckle bracelet. The size of the bracelet fits a 7.5 inches wrist.
History
The story of Joseph Bulova started in 1875 in the New York area in opening a small jewelry store in the Maiden Lane. Years after years, Bulova offers a full line of watches. In 1926, Bulova introduce a world premier “a practical clock radio”. 1930-1940 is a period of tremendous success for the brand with its rectangular gold-filled wristwatches with highly cambered cases. In the 1950’s, Bulova is the first with electronic watches, the “Accutron”. In 1967, Bulova bought Universal then in 1979 is acquired by Loews Corp. and in 2001bought Wittnauer.
