Rare Bulova Accutron Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney Productions with round champagne dial and black baton for hours. The window for date and day is at 3 o’clock. On the dial you have the painting of Mickey and the hands for minutes and hours. The Bulova crown is in gold at 4 o’clock. It is a gold fluted bezel. The watch comes with a stainless-steel screwed back case with engraved outside “Bulova N5 – Water Resistant – Stainless Steel – T1114451” and inside “T-3046 – Used only genuine Accutron cell marked 218 – Install with stepped side up”. The watch has an electronic movement with caliber 2182 G. The watch has a gold and stainless bracelet and double clasp Bulova buckle. The size of the bracelet is 7.5 inches.
History
The story of Joseph Bulova started in 1875 in the New York area in opening a small jewelry store in the Maiden Lane. Years after years, Bulova offers a full line of watches. In 1926, Bulova introduce a world premier “a practical clock radio”. 1930-1940 is a period of tremendous success for the brand with its rectangular gold-filled wristwatches with highly cambered cases. In the 1950’s, Bulova is the first with electronic watches, the “Accutron”. In 1967, Bulova bought Universal then in 1979 is acquired by Loews Corp. and in 2001bought Wittnauer.
