Breitling Superocean with Reference A17345 in stainless steel with yellow dial and white and black Roman numerals for hours. The hands are silver with Sword style. The second hand comes with a red arrow. The date window comes at 3 o’clock.  At 6 o’clock, you have engraved “Superocean Professional Automatic 5000FT /1524M”. The watch has a unidirectional rotative bezel graduated up to 55. The watch has a screwed crown with Breitling logo. It is a screw back case with engraved “Breitling Chronometre Officiellement Certifie – Etanche 1500M – Manufacture en Suisse - A 17345 - 130722”. The watch is waterproof 1500 M. The watch has a Breitling automatic movement with caliber 17 and 25 jewels. It is a Breitling bracelet with a Breitling double clasp buckle. It fits a 7.5 inches wrist.

History

Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
