Beautiful Pierre Kunz Spirit of Challenge watch with reference G403 numbered 336 with round tissage light brown and semi skeletonized dial and white and black Arabic numerals. Two sub dials, Master of Complications, this innovative watch offers a bi-retrograde chronograph combined with a special day/night indication located at 6 o’clock. It is a “Geneve Swiss Made” model. The crown comes with the PK logo and the chrono pushers are in rubber. It is a stainless steel case screwed back case with engraved “Pierre Kunz Geneve – Spirit of Challenge – Etanche 100M – 328 ft – G403 Sport - #336”. It comes with an automatic movement with caliber PK2010-002. The watch has a rubber strap with stainless steel double PK clasp. Width between lugs is 24mm. With the watch, it comes box and instruction.
History
In 2001, Pierre Kunz started to create his own timepieces with the support of Frank Muller group in Genthod. Before creating his own watches, Pierre had a prestigious experience as master watchmaker constructing grand complication from start to finish. He is also the pioneer of the modern-day regulator. His new watches were for the first time presented in 2002 at the Frank Muller’s Watchland. Some of his timepieces included multiple retrograde readouts via new technological and design approaches. Kunz’s collection is eclectic including chronograph, tourbillon, perpetual calendar, minute repeater to name a few.
