Breitling Motors 6.75 Speed chronograph limited edition 47/50 with reference J44362 with a round grey dial and silver batons for each hour. 3 sub dials with seconds at 3 o’clock, hours at 6 o’clock and minutes at 9 o’clock. 2 outer rings for calculation. At 12 o’clock, comes the window for the date. At 6 o’clock is engraved “Bentley”. Guilloche bezel and Breitling crown. It is an 18K white gold screwed case with engraved in the back “Bentley – 47/50 – J44362 – 769068”. The design in the back is the Bentley wheel. Automatic movement with caliber 44 with 21 jewels. It is a COSC chronometer certified movement. The watch come with a 18K white gold bracelet and double Breitling clasp. The watch comes with full set, including warranty, booklet and box. The watch fits a 7.50 inches wrist including 2 links.
History
Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
