History
Gerd-Rudiger Lang founded the company in 1983 and commits himself to create mechanical watches only. Chronoswiss is known for its Regulator by transferring the Regulator dial of clocks and pocket watches to the wristwatch. In 1990, the company started to manufacture its own movement and complete watches. In 1994, the Grand Regulateur is introduced to the market. In 1995, Chronoswiss introduces the Opus collection. 1998, the brand first subsidiary is founded in Bellport, NY. The same year the Pathos model is unveiled. The models are eclectic with chronographs, regulateurs, triple date, rattrapante or tourbillon. In 2012, Oliver Ebstein and his wife Eva bought the company.
