Zenith 18K yellow gold with caliber 2531 – 35mm – NOS - Serviced
Beautiful Zenith watch with round creamy dial and 18K yellow gold case. Each hour is marked with a gold baton. One sub dial at 6 o’clock for the seconds. The hands are in gold with Baton style. It is a “Swiss Made” model. The case is in yellow gold with the number 875A633 outside. Inside the case you have engraved Zenith – Swiss Made, the hammer with number 143 – 18K .750 and the face woman poincon. The watch has a manual winding Zenith movement with caliber 2531 and 19 jewels. The watch comes with a black leather strap and Zenith buckle.
History
A man called Georges Favre Jacot set-up a company in 1865. He experienced a large successful offering pocket watches as accuracy as possible. In 1896, it won a gold medal at the Swiss National Exhibition. In 1960, Zenith takes over Martel Watch Co., which developed the calibers 285 and 749 for Universal. They became the 246 Zenith family. In 1969, Zenith introduces the first ever-automatic chronograph with central winding rotor, the mythical “El Primero”. Since 1999, the company is owned by LVMH. Their current leading products are “Chronomaster XXT”, the tourbillon chronograph, the “Traveler” and “Defy Xtreme”.
