Black round dial automatic Montblanc with reference 7285 in stainless steel. It is a very stylish watch with a black dial with white Arabic numerals and batons. The window for the date is at 3 o’clock. The hands are in stainless steel with Baton style. It is a “L Swiss Made L” model. It has a crown with the classic Montblanc logo. It is a screwed back case with crystal sapphire and engraved outside “Montblanc – Swiss Made – 3 bar - - Stainless Steel –– 7285 – FTFD3CYD7. Automatic movement with caliber MB 24.09 Montblanc Meisterstuck and 25 jewels. The watch comes with a black leather strap Montblanc buckle. Width between lugs is 22mm. Full set with watch, box, papers and guide booklet.

History

Montblanc is famous for its pens, leather goods but in 1997 it has decided to develop a watch line. I was skeptical at the time but have to acknowledge that it has developed a reputation for quality and craftsmanship. The first model was the Montblanc Meisterstuck watch inspired and equivalent of the famous Meisterstuck pen. This watch proved to be the success that put Montblanc watches on the road to haute horlogerie in 2006. The line was created under the auspices of master watchmaker Thierry Pellaton. Today most of the watches are crafted in the Swiss village of Le Locle which has been making timepieces since 1705.

Automatic movement with caliber MB 24.09 – Montblanc Meisterstuck – 25 jewels Swiss Made and 28,800 A/h. The power reserve is 38 hours. The base caliber is Sellita SW300-1 a.
