Breitling Bentley Motors Chronograph limited edition 02/25 with reference J25363 with a round white mother of pearl dial and gold batons marking each hour. 3 sub dials with minutes at 9 o’clock, hours at 6 o’clock and seconds at 3 o’clock. 2 outer rings for calculation function. At 6 o’clock is engraved “30 seconds chronograph”. The watch comes with a special feature, a 30 second type chronograph instead of the classic 60 seconds. Brushed white gold bezel and Breitling crown. Window date at 4 o’clock. It is a .750 white gold screwed case with engraved in the back “Special Edition Limited to 25 – J25363 – 18K .750 – 2177816”. Automatic movement with caliber 25B with 21 jewels. It is a COSC chronometer certified movement. The watch come with a blue Breitling crocodile strap and 18K white gold Breitling buckle. The watch comes with the box, instruction booklets, international warranty and certificate of chronometry.
History
Leon Breitling started Breitling in 1884 with his own chronograph. In 1892, Leon built a watch manufacture called “G. Leon Breitling S.A., Montbrillant Watch Factory. In 1914, Gaston Breitling takes over the business and creates the “Vitesse” model. In 1932 Willy Breitling took over his father and creates the “Chronomat” in 1947 and then the “Navitimer” in 1952. In 1962, a Breitling chronograph was catapulted into the space at astronaut Scott Carpenter wrist. Then came the famous caliber 11 in 1969 called “Chronomatic” developed by Breitling and Heuer. The story of Breitling ended in 1979 before being revived by Ernest Schneider in 1982 and managed today by his son Theodore.
