History
Alfred Dunhill's story began in 1893 when he took over his father's London saddlery business, but he quickly pivoted to focus on the burgeoning automobile industry, creating accessories under the "Dunhill's Motorities" brand. His innovative spirit led him to open a tobacconist and pipe shop in 1907 on Duke Street, where he built a reputation for fine craftsmanship and personalized service, supplying products to an elite clientele and eventually expanding internationally. The watches were introduced in 1929 selling pocket watches and dashboard clocks. Its first watch own brand called Facet was introduced in 1936.
